Kéz a Kézben Örökre
Ők már kézen fogva készülnek az örök utazásra,
ahol földön hagyott lépteiknek nem lesz folytatása,
s ahol szíveiket nem fájdítják azok a megaláztatások,
melyek elvettek tőlük minden méltóságot.
Nekik már megadatott sok-sok nap, sok-sok évtized,
melyekben megőrizték egymás iránt hűségeiket,
amik majd társaikul szegődnek arra a hosszú útra is,
aminek fénybefutó vége egy jobb világba visz.
Ők már megmutatták milyen az-az összetartozás,
mellyel együtt tudtak élni egy emberöltőn át,
s amellyel együtt indulnak el a fényes túlsó partra,
ahol elhalkuló szívüket már, Isten, dobogtatja.

Hand in Hand Forever
They are preparing to travel to eternal, hand in hand.
where there will be no continuation of their footsteps on the ground,
and where their hearts are not hurt by those humiliations,
which stripped them of all dignity.
They have been given many, many days, many decades,
in which they kept their loyalty to each other,
which, together with their companions, will join that long road too,
whose bright end takes you to a better world.
They already showed what togetherness means,
with which they could live through the ages,
and with which they set off to the bright outer coast,
God makes their dying hearts beat.
